Christopher Nguyen, PhD
Dr. Nguyen is an imaging physicist specializing in cardiovascular and body applications conducting most of his research at the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) Cardiovascular Research Center and Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging / Harvard Medical School in Charlestown, MA.
His current research focuses on developing novel MRI techniques that aim at probing the myocardial tissue microenvironment, evaluating novel myocardial regenerative therapies, characterizing vascular biology, and fundamentally revealing the structure-function nature of heart failure. He also translates his MRI techniques to detect and stage prostate and pancreatic cancer.
